Predictable Billing

Invoices are generated on the first day of each month (or quarter).

*While our invoices provide a 30-day window, we ask that you please make your payments as promptly as possible. After 2-months of outstanding invoices, your control panel and website will be locked by NationBuilder until payment is made.

 

Flexible Payment Options

We have flexible payment options including Credit Card, Interac e-Transfer, or Cheque (only for quarterly payments). Unfortunately, we do not accept direct deposit unless you are on Enterprise and due to the nature of NationBuilder's pay-as-you-grow, we do not have an annual billing option.

What does "First #" mean?

NationBuilder is billed based on the number of contacts and the number of emailable you have in your nation's database.

To keep pricing simple and predictable, we break down all of our tiers by 5000 contacts/1000 emailable such as:

  • Tier 1 - 5000/1000
  • Tier 2 - 10000/2000
  • Tier 3 - 15000/3000

...and so on.

 

So, as an example, invoices that say First 3 and then 4 and above mean that you are on a tier above 4 which are billed at different rates than your first three tiers. So if you're on Basic (CAD), your first three tiers would be charged at $60/month each and then each additional tier is billed at $40/month:

  • Tier 1 - 5000/1000 = $60
  • Tier 2 - 10000/2000 = +$60
  • Tier 3 - 15000/3000 = +$60
  • Tier 4 - 20000/4000 = +40
  • Tier 5 - 25000/5000 = +40

for a total of $260.
