NationBuilder is billed based on the number of contacts and the number of emailable you have in your nation's database.
To keep pricing simple and predictable, we break down all of our tiers by 5000 contacts/1000 emailable such as:
- Tier 1 - 5000/1000
- Tier 2 - 10000/2000
- Tier 3 - 15000/3000
...and so on.
So, as an example, invoices that say First 1 and then Next 2-5 mean that you are on a tier between 2 and 5 which are billed at different rates than your first tier. So if you're on Legacy v6 Leader, your first tier would be charged at $45/month and then tiers 2 through 5 are each billed at $30/month:
- Tier 1 - 5000/1000 = $45
- Tier 2 - 10000/2000 = +$30
- Tier 3 - 15000/3000 = +$30
for a total of $105.
